WHAT IS SOLAR ENERGY

DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES

Solar Heating and Cooling (SHC) and Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) both use heat generated by the sun. SHC systems collect thermal energy to provide hot water and air heating or conditioning, while CSP helps run traditional electricity-generating turbines in the case of power plants. Photovoltaics are used to generate electricity from the sun that can be used to power anything from a small electronic to a home or large commercial business.
